Dr B R Ambedkar University Institute of Basic Sciences in Agra
Institute of Basic Sciences of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University is located at Khandari Road campus of the University. The institute came into existence in 1981 with the introduction of Department of Chemistry. Gradually, several other departments in science subjects were introduced by the institute. Currently, it constitutes five different educational departments, namely, Department of Chemistry, Department of Physics, Department of Mathematics, Department of Forensic Science and Department of Pharmacy. Through these departments, Institute of Basic Sciences conducts qualitative undergraduate, post graduate and research programmes in several subjects of science stream.
