The Department of Contemporary Social Studies and Law was established under the Dr B R Ambedkar-Chair (Professorship), which was created May 25, 1997. The department started offering PG diploma courses from the academic year 2000-01. Presently, the department offers several PG diploma programmes, along with one post graduate programme LLM (Master of Law) in Human Rights and Duties. Housed within a three-storied well architecture building at Khandari campus, in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, Department of Contemporary Social Studies and Law is outfitted with latest educational amenities.
