The department of History and Culture at Gautam Buddha University is one of the very few schools in the country for providing teachings in social and cultural history of ancient India. The school offers full-fledged post graduate and doctoral programmes, approved by University Grants Commission (UGC), with advanced infrastructure, detailed curriculum, and resourceful exchange programmes. These programmes include MA (History), M Phil (History) and diploma programme in Gandhian Studies.
